            <description><![CDATA[BOSTON - Award-winning singer Brian De Lorenzo brings his new show <b><i>Around the World in 60 Minutes</b></i> to the cabaret stage in Harvard Square's famous Blacksmith House. Take a trip with Brian to locations near and far with songs familiar and not-so-familiar, including a tribute to the "Big Apple" and some very funny travel songs.<br /><br />Brian is well known for finding wonderful songs that aren&#8217;t so well known; and for his interpretations of standards from the Great American Songbook and musical theatre. <b><i>Around the World&#8221;¦</b></i>includes songs from <b><i>Brigadoon, On the Town, Porgy & Bess,</b></i> and <b><i>My Fair Lady</b></i> as well as songs from <b><i>New Faces of 1956, Angel,</b></i> and <b><i>A New Brain</b></i>.<br /><br />The opening act for the evening is singer <b><i>Christine Fontana</b></i>. Christine enjoys singing many styles including jazz, Broadway, opera, R&B, and country. She recently appeared as "Blanche Ingram" in the musical <b><i>Jane Eyre</b></i> at Theatre III.             <description><![CDATA[BOSTON - Award-winning tenor <b>Brian De&nbsp;Lorenzo</b> returns to the cabaret stage in March with New England Light Opera for three performances of <b><i>Fascinatin' Rhythm: A Gershwin Revue</b></i>  a musical revue created by NELO&#8217;s Artistic Director, Mark Morgan. Directed by <b>Michael Byrne</b>, the show features standards as well as lesser known songs by this foremost of American songwriters, including <b><i>I Got Rhythm, S&#8217;Wonderful, Nice Work If You Can Get It</b></i>, and many more. The songs will be presented in a variety of settings including their original theatrical versions as well as contemporary settings and tight vocal jazz harmonizations. Keyboard works will also be represented including excerpts from <b><i>An American in Paris</b></i>. <br /><br />The cast is made up of the members of NELO&#8217;s hit Cole Porter show, <b><i>Night and Day:</i> June Baboian, Brian De&nbsp;Lorenzo, Mark Morgan,</b> and <b>Kaja Schuppert.             <description><![CDATA[BOSTON - <b>The Follen Angels</b> - Jazz and Cabaret performing and recording artists <b>Hildy Grossman</b> (vocals), <b>Rieko Tanaka</b>, (piano) and <b>Ken Dantzig</b> (drums) make their 6th return to Scullers with their new production of Broadway show-stoppers called <b><i>All that Jazz: The Best of Broadway</b></i>. <br />They have chosen songs from some of the most beloved Broadway shows: <b><i>Mame, Chicago, Gypsy, South Pacific, Damn Yankees</b></i>, and many more. Joining the Angels are award-winning Boston musical theater and cabaret performer <b>Brian De Lorenzo</b>, who has a strikingly beautiful tenor voice, and <b>Jeanne LaForgia</b>, whose soprano voice is pure and sparkling.
