rofessional actor, singer, recording artist, and Talent America’s 2001 "Performer of the Year" Brian De Lorenzo has performed at clubs in New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, and Provincetown, and on cruise ships in Alaska and the Mediterranean. He has also sung at the Mabel Mercer Foundation's New York and Chicago Cabaret Conventions and three Boston Cabaret Festivals.

Brian's CD Found Treasures was nominated for the 2000 "Recording of the Year" Award by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC).

Brian is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association (AEA), Screen Actors' Guild (SAG), and StageSource.

Wild Party Receives "Best Ensemble" IRNE Award - April 14, 2008

BOSTON – The Independent Reviewers of New England presented the New Repertory Theatre's production of the musical The Wild Party (written by Andrew Lippa) with the award for "Best Ensemble" at the 11th Annual IRNE Awards, which were presented on Monday April 14, 2008, at the Boston Center for the Arts Cyclorama. Brian De Lorenzo played the role of "Phil D'Armano" in that production. The Wild Party’s Sarah Corey also won the award for "Best Supporting Actress in a Musical"

Brian De Lorenzo to Perform in 2 New Musical Revues - April 8, 2008

BOSTON - Brian De Lorenzo will be featured in two new musical revues this Spring. First is
Up Close & Presidential: A Musical Celebration of Election-Year Politics, with American Classics.

Just the ticket for the upcoming election year: songs inspired by presidential elections from way-back-when to the present. Hosted by Bob Jolly and featuring Brad Conner, Brian De Lorenzo, Mary Ann Lanier, Peter Miller, Caroline Musica, Heather Peterson, Joei Marshall Perry, & Ben Sears. Margaret Ulmer accompanies. Next up is The Roaring ’20s: A New Musical Revue, with New England Light Opera. Performing with Brian are Liane Grasso, & Valeska Cambron, with Mark Morgan as the Master of Cermonies.

Featuring the sultry and seductive sounds of the speakeasy, New England Light Opera presents a new revue of favorite music from the jazz age. Telling the story of the tumultuous '20s, this dynamic program features classics by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Fats Waller and many others. IRNE Award Nominations Announced - April 7, 2008

BOSTON - The New Repertory Theatre's production of the musical The Wild Party by Andrew Lippa, in which Brian De Lorenzo played the role of "Phil D'Armano," has been nominated for multiple "IRNE" Awards, including "Best Ensemble" and "Best Musical." The production also received nominations in the categories of Supporting Actress in a Musical, Supporting Actor in a Musical, Lighting Design, Costume Design, Choreography, Music Director, & Director.

The Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Awards for 2007 will take place on Monday April 14, 2008, at the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA) in the Cyclorama. Founded by Beverly Creasey of the Journal Newspapers and Larry Stark of TheaterMirror in 1997, the IRNE Awards recognize the extraordinary wealth of talent in the Boston theatre community.
